Educational institutions to remain closed as coronavirus threat looms large

Dhaka, June 12: The general holiday period in all educational institutions of the country has been extended by another term. This holiday has been extended till June 30. The Ministry of Education said in a statement on Saturday (June 12).

Dhaka, January 28: Supreme Court lawyer Khandaker Hasan Shahriar has sent a legal notice to government officials to close all educational institutions in the country until the Corona epidemic is eradicated. In the notice, he said that he would take steps to take 100% online classes by keeping the educational institution closed all the time in Corona.

Schools to reopen in first half of February

Dhaka, January 26: The educational institution may open in the first or second week of February. After discussions with the Prime Minister, all government primary schools in the country will be opened. Students will take classes in multiple shifts in compliance with the hygiene rules.
