Newly elected mayors of two cities take oath
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 4 April 2024: Newly elected mayors of two city corporations took oath on Thursday. Besides, five Zilla Parishad chairmen have also taken oath. The mayors of the two cities are Tahsin Bahar Suchana of Comilla and Ekramul Haque Titu of Mymensingh respectively.

Dhaka, July 3: Newly elected Mayor Gazipur City Corporation's Zayda Khatun, Barisal's Abul Khair Abdullah (Khokan Serniabat) and Sylhet's Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury and re-elected Mayor Khulna's Talukdar Abdul Khalek and Rajshahi's AHM Khairuzzaman Liton took oath. On Monday, July 3, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina administered the oath to the mayors of five cities in two separate ceremonies at the Shapla Hall of her office.
