Dhaka, July 29: The local government department has directed to form two committees at the union and ward level as per the decision of the health ministry to take measures to reduce the crowds at markets and tea shops. The local government department issued the directive on Tuesday (July 27) by sending letters to all deputy commissioners (DCs), deputy directors (local government) and upazila executive officers (UNOs).

Tourist centers to remain shut, public gatherings prohibited even with relaxation of Covid-19 rules

Dhaka, July 15: Although the Covid-19 rules have been relaxed ahead of Eid-ul-Azha, for a week, the government has issued new instructions to close tourist centers and avoid social gatherings. The directive was given by the cabinet department in a statement issued by the government on Wednesday.
