Dhaka, April 2: An oil tanker overturned and caught fire in Dhaka's Savar, burning five vehicles. Two people died in this incident, while eight others were severely injured.

Bus-autorickshaw collision in Chittagong kills 7

Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 8 November 2023: Seven people were killed in a bus-CNG auto rickshaw collision in Hathazari, Chittagong. The accident took place at Charia Board School area of Mirzapur Union under Hathazari police station on Chittagong-Khagrachari highway on Tuesday around 12:15 pm.

299 killed, 544 injured in road accidents during Eid holidays

Dhaka, July 9: Two hundred and ninety-nine people were killed in 277 accidents on the country's roads and highways during the Eid-ul-Azha holiday. Another 544 people were injured. Bangladesh Jatri Kalyan Samiti gave this information in a press conference at Bangladesh Photojournalist Association auditorium in the city on Saturday morning.
