School admission through lottery, online application from November 25
Dhaka, November 12: Online application for admission in government and private schools across the country will start on November 25. The application process will continue till December 8. This time a lottery will be organized centrally all over the country for school admission. Admission forms will be sold, lottery and results will be published through Teletalk.
Admission in private schools from November
Dhaka, October 27: After about a year and a half, the educational institutions are operating following Covid-19 guidelines. Another academic year is coming to an end with the impact of coronavirus on the head, students will take part in the admission in government and private schools of the country in the new year. In the meantime, the private schools are preparing to publish the admission notification.

Dhaka, November 25: Education Minister Dipu Moni has said that students in the first to ninth classes will be admitted through lottery due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Educational institutions want to conduct tests before admission
Dhaka, October 28: The headmasters of government secondary schools in the capital have voted in favour of admitting new students only after conducting exams next year. Emphasis has been laid on taking the test in nine steps in three clusters in compliance with the Covid-19 hygiene rules. If it is not possible to take the exam in any way, then the heads of the educational institutions have offered to admit students in the first to eighth classes through lottery.
