However, there will be handle detectors for security. Request to install luggage scanners. Let the authorities take quick steps to install baggage scanners and archways."
Armed forces will be in the polling field for 13 days
Own correspondent, Dhaka, 19 December 2023: Armed forces will be in the polling ground for 13 days on the occasion of the 12th National Assembly elections. In a letter written to the Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces on Monday, December 18, the EC said that the 12th National Assembly elections will be held on January 7. The Election Commission has taken all possible legal and administrative measures to conduct elections in a free, fair, impartial and peaceful manner.
Security of diplomats ensured according to the Vienna Convention: Dr. Momen

There will be 650,000 members of law and order forces in the polling field
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 14 November 2023: Around 650,000 members of the law and order forces will be on duty in the upcoming 12th National Parliament elections. A draft information in this regard has been given to the Election Commission (EC) by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Thousands of crores of takas have been demanded for law and order forces to fulfill their duties.
Ambassadors of 4 countries receiving conditional escort: Home Minister
Dhaka, May 28: Various discussions are going on about the withdrawal of permanent police escort facilities for the movement of the ambassadors of the United States, United Kingdom, India and Saudi Arabia in Dhaka. In the meantime, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal informed that the escort facility of the ambassadors under the leadership of the police will be maintained conditionally.
Gazipur polls: 13,000 police-RAB-BGB-Ansar deployed to assure security
Dhaka, May 25: More than 13,000 law and order forces have been deployed for Gazipur City Corporation election security. The local administration has taken all preparations to make the elections fair and peaceful. Law enforcement forces include the Police, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Forces.
