Dhaka, September 25: Eight leaders, including Jamaat-e-Islami secretary general Mia Ghulam Parwar, were involved in a conspiracy to illegally overthrow the current government and damage the republic's personality or property. They also expressed the view that their ally Chhatrashibir should be prepared for another August rebirth like August 21. Which is directly involved in terrorist activities, creating panic among the people and disrupting public security.

Bail application of seven people including Jamaat secretary rejected

Dhaka, September 15: A court rejected the bail pleas of seven people, including Jamaat-e-Islami secretary general Mia Golam Parwar, and sent them to jail in a case filed under the anti-terrorism law. The other accused in the jail are Jamaat-e-Islami's Assistant Secretary General Rafiqul Islam Khan, Naib-e-Amir Maulana ANM Shamsul Islam, Executive Council members Izzat Ullah, Mubarak Hossain and former student camp president Yasin Arafat and chef Md Imam Hossain.

Nine Jaamat leaders including Golam Parwar placed in four-day remand

Dhaka, September 8: A court has placed nine people, including Jamaat-e-Islami secretary general Mia Golam Parwar, in a four-day remand in a case filed under the anti-terrorism law. The other accused remanded are Jamaat-e-Islami's Assistant Secretary General Hamidur Rahman Azad, Rafiqul Islam Khan, Executive Council members Izzat Ullah, Mubarak Hossain, Abdur Rob, former Chhatra Shibir president Yasin Arafat, Jamaat activists Monirul Islam and Abdul Kalam.
