Dhaka, Feb 12: On Sunday evening, the moon of the month of Shaban was seen in the sky of the country. Counting of the month of Shaban begins today (Monday, February 12). According to that, the Holy Shab e-Barat will be celebrated on Sunday (February 25).

Own Correspondent, Dhaka, March 4: The moon of the holy month of Shaban was not seen in the sky from anywhere in the country on Thursday. Therefore, Friday (March 4) is the 30th day of the month of Rajab. The counting of Shaban month will start from Saturday (March 5). So, the holy Shab-e-Barat will be celebrated on the night of March 18 (Friday).

Dhaka, March 30: Holy Shab-e-Barat was celebrated on Monday (March 29) with due religious sanctity. Waz mahfil, and prayers were held in different mosques at the capital since evening. Prayers were offered for peace in the country and protection from the coronavirus epidemic.
DMP prohibits fireworks during Shab-e-Barat
Dhaka, March 29: Holy Shab-e-Barat will be celebrated on Monday (March 29) night. The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has banned the carrying and detonation of explosives, fireworks, firecrackers, other harmful and contaminants on the night. The ban was issued in a circular signed by DMP Commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam on Sunday (March 28) evening. The ban will remain in force from 6 pm on that day to 6 am on March 30.

Dhaka, March 15: Following a meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee at the meeting hall of the Islamic Foundation at Baitul Mukarram on Sunday evening in the presence of Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Md. Nurul Islam, it has been decided that the nation will observe Shab e Barat on March 29.
