Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has returned to Dhaka from Geneva after completing her Switzerland visit.

MoU signed between Bangladesh and Switzerland to increase efficiency

Dhaka, June 15: Bangladesh and Switzerland have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to increase skill training capacity in Bangladesh – which will increase opportunities for exporting skilled workers to Switzerland, especially from the medical and IT sectors.

Dhaka, October 6: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's steps taken to tackle climate change and the Rohingya issue are commendable, said Nathalie Chuard, Switzerland's Ambassador to Bangladesh. Recalling the continuation of strong diplomatic relations with Bangladesh, she lauded the current situation in Bangladesh in establishing human rights, prevention of violence against women, right to information and freedom of speech. The ambassador made the remarks during a meeting with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury at her Parliament House office here on Tuesday (September 5).
