Dhaka, July 9: The water level in the upper reaches of the Teesta is rising and flowing 20 cm over the danger mark. The Teesta water level has risen sharply since Thursday afternoon, causing floods in the Teesta char region. Besides, the residents have left their houses in the char areas and taken shelter in high places.
