Dhaka, November 21: The police headquarters has announced a reward of Tk 20 lakh if two death-sentenced militants Mainul Hasan Shamim alias Sifat Samir and Md Abu Chiddiq Sohail alias Shakib can be handed over. On Sunday (November 20), AIG (Media and PR) Md. Manjur Rahman said that a reward of Tk 10 lakh and Tk 20 lakh has been announced if two fugitive terrorists can be caught.
Dr. Rafat Chowdhury arrested for involvement in terrorism
Dhaka, November 10: DMP's Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) bomb disposal unit has arrested Dr. Rafat Chowdhury, son of the current Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh, Dr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman, for his involvement in militancy. He was arrested from Sylhet on Wednesday (November 9) at noon. Arrested Dr. Chowdhury is the chief coordinator of Sylhet region of banned militant organization Ansar Al Islam.

Seven arrested militants, three KNF members in jail
Dhaka, October 22: The court ordered the jailing of seven members of Jamaatul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya and three members of the Kuki-Chin National Party (KNF) from the border areas of Bandarban and Rangamati. Judicial Magistrate Farzana Akhter of Rangamati Court gave this order at around 7 pm on Friday (October 21). Later they were sent to the district jail under police guard.

Dhaka, October 6: A total of seven people were arrested by the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), including four who had left home for 'militant involvement'. The arrested are Hossain Ahmed, Md Nesar Uddin alias Umayer, Bani Amin, Imtiaz Ahmed Rifat, Md Hasibul Islam, Roman Shikder and Md Sabid.
