US delegation did not come with political motives: Home Minister

Dhaka, July 13: The US delegation said that they did not visit Bangladesh for any political purpose. They also mentioned that they are not encouraging any party. The delegation led by Uzra Jaya, Under Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights of the United States, confirmed this during a meeting with Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal at the Secretariat on Thursday. At the end of the meeting, the Home Minister told reporters.
