Dhaka, April 24: Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited, the country's leading pharmaceutical company, is going to produce vaccines this year to prevent the spread of the deadly coronavirus in the country.
Dhaka, March 25: India is sending another 12 lakh corona vaccine to Bangladesh as a gift. The vaccine is expected to arrive in Dhaka tomorrow, Friday, the great Independence Day (March 26). This information was given by Shamsul Haque, Line Director, EPI Program, Health Office.
Own representative, Dhaka, March 8, 2021: 38 lakh 82 thousand 152 people have so far been vaccinated in the country by taking part in the national vaccination program against coronavirus which started on February 8. Among them 23 lakh 55 thousand 423 males and 13 lakh 26 thousand 629 females.
Dhaka, March 2: The coronavirus vaccination program started nationally on February 7. So far, 32,26,825 people have been vaccinated. Among them, 754 people reported side effects or adverse events following immunization (AEFI). Side effects include mild fever, body aches, sore throat, weakness, swelling or redness at the injection site.

Dhaka, February 23: The second consignment of Covishield vaccine has come from the Serum Institute of India for coronavirus prevention. At 12:22 am on 23 February, India's SpiceJet SG-0063 flight arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport with a consignment of 2 million doses of the vaccine.
Dhaka, February 22: The second shipment of the Oxford-AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine- Covishield- from India's Serum Institute will arrive in Bangladesh on Monday (February 22). Nazmul Hasan Papon, managing director of Beximco Pharma, a vaccine provider in the country, confirmed the information on Sunday.
Dhaka, February 12: On the fifth day of the ongoing coronavirus vaccination program across the country, over 2,00,000 people have been vaccinated. A total of 2,04,540 people were vaccinated at 46 government hospitals and other centers across the country, including the capital, on Thursday (February 11). Among them are 1,40,152 males and 64,388 females.

The gift of 20 lakh doses of vaccine is the largest amount ever given to a neighboring country of India.
