Dhaka, December 17: President Md Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina participated and witnessed the parade held at the National Parade Ground on the occasion of Victory Day on Friday. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces President took the salute and visited the parade on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the victory of Bangladesh. The 9th Infantry Division of the Bangladesh Army organized and conducted the parade under the supervision of the Armed Forces Department under the guidance of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs.

Dhaka, October 29: A delegation of the Indian Army and a military band will take part in the celebration of the golden jubilee of victory in Bangladesh on December 16. The decision was taken at a meeting between Bangladesh Chief Admiral M Shaheen Iqbal and Indian Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh in the South Block of the Defense Ministry headquarters in Raisina Hills, Delhi on Monday.
