Dhaka, April 13: Security has been beefed up at every police station in the Motijheel division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). Outposts with light machine guns (LMGs) and Chinese rifles have been set up in each police station. Police personnel have always been kept ready at the check post made of sandbags. It is learned that police personnel will be deployed in these police stations 24 hours a day. Similar security has been beefed up in Motijheel and Wari police stations.
Lockdown lifted in Dhaka's Wari
Officials in Bangladesh have lifted the lockdown that prevailed in Dhaka's Wari area. The development took place on early Saturday, after the Covid-19 infection rate dropped in the area.
