ঢাকা মেট্রোপলিটান পুলিশের কাউন্টার টেররিজম এবং ট্রান্সন্যাশনাল ক্রাইম (সি টি টি সি ) ইউনিট রাজধানী শহরের রমনা থেকে গত ৪ঠা নভেম্বর জামায়তুল মুজাহিদিনের সদস্য চার ছাত্র জঙ্গিকে গ্রেপ্তার করেছে। জেরার মুখে তারা স্বীকার করেছে যে, অনলাইনে ইসলামি উগ্রবাদ ছড়িয়ে দিতে সক্রিয় থাকা ছাড়াও ভারচুয়াল পৃথিবী থেকে তারা সদস্য সংগ্রহ করছিল।
Militancy attracting youths
Counter-Terrorism and TransnaIslamist mtional Crime (CTTC) unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police arrested four militant students belonging to Jamiatul Mujahideen Bangladesh on November 4 from Ramna area in the capital. On interrogation they confessed that they were active in spreading ideology of Islamic extremism online and recruiting members from the virtual world.
