Dhaka, June 2: Dhaka-based actress Pori Moni has been excused from appearing in court in a case under the Narcotics Control Act at the Banani police station in the capital. On Thursday (June 2), Judge Nazrul Islam of Dhaka's Special Judge's Court-10 granted Pari Moni's plea and excused her from personal appearance.

Pori Moni's drug case proceedings suspended in High Court

Dhaka, March 1: The High Court has stayed the proceedings of Pori Moni's case under the Narcotics Control Act for three months. At the same time, the court issued a rule asking why the order to frame charges in the case under the Narcotics Control Act against her would not be quashed. A High Court bench of Justice Mostafa Zaman Islam and Justice Md Selim passed the order on Tuesday (March 1).
