Dhaka, September 12: Information and Broadcasting Minister Hasan Mahmud has expressed hope that the movie 'Mujib: The Making of a Nation', based on the biography (biopic) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, could be released within this year.

Cannes, France May 20: India's Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur and Minister of Information and Broadcasting of Bangladesh Dr. Hasan Mahmud on Thursday jointly released a 90-second intriguing trailer of the India–Bangladesh co-production feature film on Bangabandhu, 'Mujib – The Making of a Nation' directed by Shyam Benegal.

Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud said that the work of Bangabandhu biopic is progressing fast and the film may be released in March 2022.
