Dhaka, October 6: Import-export trade will be closed for four consecutive days through Benapole land port on the occasion of Durga Puja. However, goods will be unloaded at Benapole Custom House and Port during this holiday and the passage of passport holders between Bangladesh and India will be normal.

নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধি, ঢাকা, ২৫ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২০ : ভারতের বাণিজ্য মন্ত্রণালয়ের নিষেধাজ্ঞা প্রত্যাহার না হওয়ায় টানা ১১ দিন ধরে বেনাপোল বন্দর দিয়ে পেঁয়াজ আমদানি বন্ধ। ফলে বেনাপোল বন্দরে প্রবেশের অপেক্ষায় ভারতের পেট্রাপোল বন্দর এলাকায় বিভিন্ন বেসরকারি পার্কিং আর সড়কে বেশকিছু পেঁয়াজবোঝাই ট্রাক এখনও দাঁড়িয়ে আছে। এসব পেঁয়াজের বেশির ভাগ পচে নষ্ট হয়ে গেছে। দ্রুত এসব ট্রাক ছাড় করাতে না পারলে আবারও নতুন করে ক্ষতির মুখে পড়বেন বাংলাদেশি ব্যবসায়ীরা। ...
