Dhaka, November 6: The Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources has explained about increasing the price of diesel and kerosene by Tk 15 per liter in the country's market. The explanation was given in a press release signed by Deputy Chief Information Officer of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Mir Mohammad Aslam Uddin on Friday (November 5) evening.
Diesel prices are lower in Bangladesh than in neighboring countries
Dhaka, November 6: Diesel and kerosene prices in Bangladesh are lower than in neighboring countries especially India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal. According to the globalpetrolprices.com, the world average price of petrol is Tk 106.36 per liter, which is Tk 26.36 more than the price in Bangladesh.
