44 projects approved in govt's last ECNEC meeting

Dhaka, Nov 10: Forty-four projects have been approved in the last meeting of the current government. The total cost of implementing the projects will be Tk 39,344 crore. Out of this, GOB will spend Tk 30,123 crores and Tk 768 crore will be available from foreign loans. A meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) was held on Thursday (November 9) at the NEC conference room in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar. ECNEC Chairperson and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presided over the meeting.

19 projects sanctioned in ECNEC

Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 13 September 2023: Nineteen projects have been approved in the meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC). A meeting was held at the NEC conference room in Sher Bangla Nagar of the capital on Tuesday. ECNEC Chairperson and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presided over the meeting. After the meeting, Planning Minister MA Mannan and State Minister for Planning Dr. Shamsul Alam gave details to the reporters.

The total cost for the implementation of the projects has been estimated at Tk 2,575.42 crore. Of this, Tk 2,150.42 crore will be available from government funds and Tk 425 crore will be taken as loans.

Dhaka, June 22: At the meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC), 10 projects have been approved at a cost of around Tk 4,166.61 crore. Of this, the government will provide Tk 4,125.82 crore and the company's own funding will be Tk 40.79 crore.
