Gold prices hit record high of Tk 1,12,908 per bhori
Dhaka, March 7: Breaking all the previous records, a new record has been created in the price of gold in the country's market. The price of the best quality or 22 carat gold (11.664 grams) has been increased by Tk 2,217. The price of one bhori of good quality gold is Tk 1 lakh 12 thousand 908.
Gold price drops by Tk 1,750 per bhori
Dhaka, Jan 19: A day after the gold prices touched a record high, jewellers have announced a cut in gold prices. A maximum of Tk 1,750 has been reduced per bhori. As a result, the price of a good quality i.e. 22 carat gold will be Tk 1,10,691 per bhori, which was at Tk 1,12,441 before.
Gold prices hit record high in Bangladesh
Dhaka, Jan 18: The price of gold has increased further. It is up by Tk 1,400 per bhori. As a result, the price of good quality i.e. 22 carat gold stands at Tk 1,12,441 per bhori. This is the highest price of gold in the market of the country. This price was Tk 1,11,041 per bhori earlier.
Gold prices decrease
Dhaka, April 27: Gold prices have also been reduced in the country's market in the wake of falling prices in the world market. The price of the best quality gold has been reduced by Tk 1,167 and a new price has been fixed. The price of good quality gold has been Tk 77,682.
Bangladesh allows imports of gold ornaments
Dhaka, October 22: Besides gold bars, the central bank has allowed the import of gold ornaments to authorised dealers, who can now legally import gold ornaments. In this case, instructions have been given to follow the Gold Policy 2018.
