Dhaka, November 11: After a 22-day ban, Bhola fishermen set out to catch hilsa in the Meghna-Tentulia river with high hopes, but were disappointed with the quantity. The fishermen are in extreme distress. It has become difficult for them to make ends meet.

Hilsa fishing ban lifted as breeding season ends

Dhaka, November 5: After 22 days, the ban on hilsa fishing has been lifted since 12 am on Thursday. As a result, hilsa will be available in the market from November 5.
