Dhaka, January 14: Balla land port of Chunarughat upazila of Habiganj district will open the door of new possibilities in import and export. Modernization of land ports is progressing at a fast pace. Although the work is scheduled to be completed on June 30, 2023, the authorities have expressed hope that the work will be completed by May. Already, after the completion of the boundary work, the infrastructure development work has also been completed 75 percent.
Terrible congestion in the transportation of exported goods at Chittagong port
Dhaka, July 7: Due to stagnation in transshipment ports like Singapore, Colombo and Malaysia, there has been a terrible complication in the transport of export goods to Chittagong port. 130 tons of explosives imported from India
Dhaka, June 7: About 130 metric tonnes of explosives worth about Tk 1.5 crore have been imported from India through Benapole port. On Sunday (June 6) afternoon, the Madhyapara Granite Mining Company Limited of Dinajpur imported the explosives in nine Indian trucks through the Indian port of Petrapole.
Bangladesh exported goods worth USD 313 crore in April
Dhaka, May 3: In April this year, goods worth USD 313 crore were exported. In the first 10 months of the fiscal year (July-April), goods worth USD 3,207 crore were exported, which is 8.75 percent more than the same period last year, according to an updated report published by the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB). The EPB released the report on Sunday (May 2).
Bhomra Port: Authorities concerned about meeting revenue target
