No list even after 50 years, families of martyred intellectuals' express anger

Dhaka, December 15: At the end of the liberation war, the Pakistani invasion forces targeted and killed the intellectuals of the country. Martyred Intellectuals Day is celebrated on December 14 every year in their memory since independence. Despite the day, there is no national list of martyred intellectuals in the country yet. The family members of the martyred intellectuals have expressed their anger as the list has not been listed even after 50 years.

Nation set to pay homage to martyred intellectuals today

Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 14 December: The nation observing the Martyred Intellectuals' Day today in a befitting manner. Just two days ahead of the country's cherished victory on this day 50 years ago, the occupation Pakistan army in collusion with their local collaborators- Al-Badr, Al-Shams and Razakars- butchered the most prominent intellectuals of the country in a bid to cripple the newly emerging nation of Bangladesh.

Historical places commemorating the Liberation War will be preserved
