Dhaka, 7 September 2022 : The Government has given 'Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Student Scholarship' to 200 students who are descendants of members of the Indian Armed Forces who were martyred or injured in the Bangladesh Liberation War.

Dhaka, April 5: Two festival allowances at the rate of Tk 10,000 per annum will be given to the heroic freedom fighters and at the same time two thousand rupees will be given to the families of the heroic freedom fighters, war wounded heroic freedom fighters and martyred heroic freedom fighters as Bengali New Year allowance. In addition, five thousand taka will be given as a great Victory Day allowance to the survivors of the title-winning, war-wounded and martyred freedom fighters.

Dhaka, November 12: Narayanganj metropolitan Awami League vice-president Bir Muktijoddha Commander Gopinath Das died at a hospital in the capital on Wednesday. He was 69 years old and is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter and numerous relatives, colleagues, admirers and well-wishers.
