Own representative, Hamilton, January 5: Bangladesh secured a crushing eight-wicket victory over world test champions New Zealand at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui on Wednesday. For the first time, Bangladesh cricket team has beaten the Kiwis in any format, that too in the home ground of New Zealand. 

Dominant Bangladesh finishes Day 3 with 73-run lead over New Zealand

Own representative, Dhaka, January 4: Bangladesh finished the third day of first test match against New Zealand with a 73-run lead at the Bay Oval in Mount Manganui. Bangladesh dominated the match from the second day morning. New Zealand all out for 328 runs after a power show by the Bangladeshi bowlers. The Tigers ended the day with 175 runs for the loss of only two wickets. Nazmul Hossain Shanto was dismissed after scoring a half century (64 runs), but Mahmudul Hasan Joy was on the wicket with 70 runs.
