Dhaka, July 23: The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has relaxed its decision to suspend all domestic flights during the lockdown that began in the early hours of Friday (July 23). Biman Bangladesh Airlines, US-Bangla Airlines and NovoAir have been given the opportunity to operate domestic flights conditionally for passengers travelling abroad.

CAAB suspends domestic flight operations till July 14

Dhaka, July 6: The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has announced the suspension of all domestic flights in the wake of rising coronavirus infections and deaths. The order will remain in force from the first watch of next Thursday (July 8) until July 14.

Flight on domestic routes suspended during hard lockdown

Dhaka, June 30: Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has suspended flights on domestic routes during the hard lockdown which will start from July 1. The CAAB issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday (June 30).

Domestic flights will be operated from today

Dhaka, April 21: All domestic routes will start operating from Wednesday (April 21). The specially approved flight will be able to transport passengers to all destinations in the country. The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Tuesday (April 20) issued instructions in this regard.

Domestic flights suspended until April 20

Dhaka, April 12: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued a notification extending the suspension of flights on all domestic routes till April 20. A notification was issued on Sunday (April 11) signed by CAAB (Flight Standards and Regulation) member group Captain Chowdhury M Ziaul Kabir.

All flights on Dhaka-Chittagong route cancelled due to thick fog

Dhaka, January 22: All domestic flights from Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong to Dhaka's Shahjalal International Airport have been canceled due to thick fog. Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport authorities said in a statement on Friday (January 22) morning.
