Dhaka, Oct 12: The visa fee of USD 51 (Tk 5,600 in Bangladesh currency), along with the complicated and uncertain process, is affecting the tourism industry in Bangladesh. So the government is thinking of opening visa for foreigners to increase the number of tourists in the country. Initially, it is planned to replace their on-arrival visas with e-visas (online visas).
Pakistan lifts visa ban; Not from Bangladesh
Dhaka, January 9: Pakistan has lifted all visa bans on Bangladeshi nationals. A statement from the Pakistan High Commission in Bangladesh confirmed the information. Qatar-based Al Jazeera quoted the statement as saying that Pakistan expected similar action from Bangladesh. However, Bangladesh has not shown any interest in this regard.
Saudi extends expatriate visa until October 30

Bangladesh: On arrival visa halted till May 16
ঢাকা, মে ১০ : করোনাভাইরাস (কোভিড-১৯) সংক্রমণ পরিস্থিতিতে সব দেশের নাগরিকদের জন্য বাংলাদেশে আগমনী ভিসা (ভিসা অন-অ্যারাইভাল) স্থগিতের মেয়াদ বাড়ল। আগামী ১৬ মে পর্যন্ত অন-অ্যারাইভাল ভিসা স্থগিত থাকবে। শনিবার স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের সুরক্ষা সেবা বিভাগ থেকে স্পেশাল ব্রাঞ্চের অতিরিক্ত মহাপুলিশ পরিদর্শকের কাছে পাঠানো নির্দেশনায় এ কথা জানানো হয়েছে। আগের নির্দেশনা অনুযায়ী, অন-অ্যারাইভাল ভিসা স্থগিতের মেয়াদ ছিল ৭ মে পর্যন্ত। ...
