Dhaka, January 9: In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus through UK travelers, the government has made a mandatory 14-day institutional quarantine for all passengers returning to the UK from January 1 (in government-run or government-designated residential hotels).

Knowing about the 14-day institutional quarantine, he did not stop returning from the UK.

A total of 164 passengers have returned from the UK in the last eight days, from 8am on January 2 to 8am on January 9, an average of about 22 passengers a day.

In the last 24 hours (from 6 am on January 6 to 8 am on January 9), 3,993 passengers arrived at Shahjalal International Airport on a total of 26 flights. Of these, 31 passengers returning to the UK on five flights were sent to the institutional quarantine.

It is learned that almost all the passengers returning to the UK are staying in the quarantine of the residential hotel. From January 2 to January 9, 21 people, 16 people, 13 people, 20 people, 22 people, 30 people, 19 people and 31 people were sent to the institutional quarantine.
