Biman flights on Dhaka-Narita route may start in March
Dhaka, November 14: Biman Bangladesh Airlines is planning to start flights on Japan's Narita route in March next year. The company has already made all kinds of preparations for operating flights on this route. Dhaka-Narita route flights will start after receiving the approval of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Bangladesh.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines Managing Director and CEO Md Zahid Hossain gave this information on Monday (November 14).
Sources in Biman's public relations department said that tourist travel to Japan was banned until now due to the coronavirus. Recently, Japan was declared open for foreign tourists. It is believed that this is the reason for the implementation of the air service plan in the country. Direct flight from Dhaka to Narita takes about 10 and a half hours.
Managing Director and CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Md. Zahid Hossain said that all preparations are almost complete for the operation of flights on Japan's Narita route. Flight on Dhaka-Narita route will start after receiving the approval of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Hope to get this approval soon. This will be Biman's first commercial flight on the Narita route.
