Padma Bridge package tour launched

In this package, travelers can visit the Padma Bridge in an air-conditioned tourist bus for Tk 999. On Friday (July 22) afternoon, the Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md. Mahbub Ali inaugurated the package tour in a ceremony organized at the Tourism Bhawan.

Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry Secretary Md. Mokammel Hossain, Bangladesh Tourism Corporation Chairman Md. Ali Kadar, Bangladesh Tourism Board Acting Chief Executive Officer Abu Tahir Md. Jaber and various stakeholders related to tourism were also present at the event.

In the opening ceremony, State Minister Md. Mahbub Ali said that due to the construction of Padma Bridge, the door has been opened for the development of tourism facilities in South Bengal. Domestic and foreign tourists can now visit Kuakata beach, Sundarbans and other tourist centers in the southern region in a short time. Various tourist facilities will be created on both sides of the Padma Bridge through the Tourism Corporation.

He said, Padma Bridge is part of our history. This bridge has made the Bengali nation a special place of pride and dignity in the world. The construction of this bridge under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will create speed and prosperity in the economy of the entire country including South Bengal.

Organized by Bangladesh Tourism Corporation, the package tour titled 'Dream Padma Bridge Tour' will be conducted regularly every Friday and Saturday. Through this trip, tourists can enjoy the beauty of Padma Bridge in the day light, as well as enjoy the wonderful beauty of Padma Bridge in the evening and night.
