Police to issue Movement Pass during lockdown

Dhaka, April 13: From April 14, the Bangladesh Police has made arrangements for the movement pass for those who need to go out exclusively within the seven-day ban. This pass holder will be able to move on the road without any hindrance.

According to the police headquarters, movement passes will be required for those who go out in lockdown in case of emergency or official work.

This pass will be given in grocery store shopping, raw market, pharmaceuticals, medical work, agriculture, transportation and supply of goods, relief distribution, wholesale or retail purchase, tourism, funeral, business and other categories.

Those who need to move outside but do not fall into any category will be considered for passing in other categories.

Monday (April 12) evening, Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG-Media) said. Sohail Rana said Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Benazir Ahmed will inaugurate the app at Rajarbagh Police Line on Tuesday.

Information required for movement pass:

From which police station area you will go, to which police station area you will go, your name, gender, age, reason for travel, date and time of using the pass, date and time of passing, national identity card, information and photo of own vehicle.

This pass holder will be able to move on the road without any hindrance. However, not everyone is getting this pass. Only those with emergency services will be given this pass and they will be able to do their work using this pass.

From April 14 to 21, the government has issued a notification imposing restrictions on coronavirus infection. It has been said that it is not possible to go out of the house without urgent need.
