Several flight routes cancelled in Bangladesh
Dhaka: Due to the recent outbreak of coronavirus and restrictions on flights to and from Bangladesh, flights on 6 routes of Biman Bangladesh Airlines have been canceled till October 24.

According to the state-flagged airline, flights to Kolkata, Delhi, Kathmandu, Kuwait, Medina in Saudi Arabia and Bangkok in Thailand have been canceled till October 24 due to the Covid-19 situation.
Earlier, due to the outbreak of coronavirus, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announced the suspension of passenger flights with all countries except the United Kingdom, China, Hong Kong and Thailand from March 21 to March 31.
Another order banned flights to all countries except China until April 6. The ban was extended to April 14, April 30, May 6, May 16, May 30 and June 15 in coordination with public holidays.
For the first time since June 17, flights from Dhaka to London and Qatar were allowed. Following this, flights to other countries are being launched. However, various countries are still being forced to cancel flights due to bans on flights to Bangladesh.
