Trains Trains to run from July 15, tickets will be sold online
Dhaka, July 13: According to the health rules, trains will run from July 15 (Thursday) with hald capacity (leaving half the seats vacant). In this case train tickets will be sold online. No tickets will be given at the counter, said Railway Minister Md. Nurul Islam Sujan.
According to the Ministry of Railways, the rest of the decision regarding the movement of trains will be given in the light of the notification of the government.
Meanwhile, the restrictions imposed by the government on various issues to prevent corona will be relaxed from July 15 to 22. A notification in this regard will be issued by the Cabinet Division on Tuesday (July 13). The information was given in an official statement on Monday (July 12).
Meanwhile, the government is going to allow public transport in accordance with the health rules from July 15. Besides, a limited number of shops and shopping malls will be opened from that day.
A final decision on the matter will be taken at a meeting to be held under the chairmanship of the cabinet secretary at 8 pm on Monday. A government order will be issued on July 13 subject to the permission of the Prime Minister, cabinet sources said.
According to the latest notification of the government, strict restrictions will continue till July 14 (Wednesday).
