Cairo, July 26: An Egyptian has ordered to detain the country's ousted president Mohamed Morsi over his alleged links with Palestinian militant group Hamas and for allegedly plotting attacks on jails and police stations during the 2011 uprising in the country, media reports said.

Morsi will be questioned over the issue for 15 days, reports said.

After days of protests, the Egyptian Army on July 3 ousted the country\'s first democratically elected president Mohamed Morsi just after one year in office.

He was taken into military custody the same night.

The head of country\'s Supreme Constitutional Court, Adly Mansour, was sworn in as interim president on July 4.

Demonstrators across the nation had accused Morsi of failing to tackle the economic and security problem since being elected.
