Munich, Feb 18: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called for an immediate end to Israeli attacks on Palestinians in Gaza.

She said, “It is very sad. We should all help them (Palestinians). What's going on in Gaza, I think it's genocide. I never support such genocide.”

She said these to the Turkish news agency Anadolu Agency in Munich, Germany on Saturday.

The Prime Minister is in Germany on a three-day visit to attend the Munich Security Conference (MSC).

Sheikh Hasina said, “This aggression and war must be stopped. They have a right to live. Bangladesh has already sent some aid to the Palestinian people. I call on everyone in the world to help the children, women and general population of Palestine."

“It is clear that the Palestinian people have the right to have their own state. There is a need to create a state for Palestine based on the 1967 UN two-nation theory,” she added.

PM Hasina arrived in Munich on February 15 on a three-day official visit to attend the Munich Security Conference 2024. She is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on February 19.
