Sheikh Hasina Sheikh Hasina congratulates King Charles-Queen Camilla
London, May 6: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina extended heartfelt congratulations on behalf of the government and people of Bangladesh on the occasion of the historic coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla were officially crowned at London's Westminster Abbey on Saturday (May 6). Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina congratulated the new King and Queen of Britain in a greeting message on the occasion of their official coronation.
In the message, Sheikh Hasina expressed her sincere support to Charles III as the new king of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and head of the Commonwealth.
The Prime Minister said, "I am confident that the people of the United Kingdom will enjoy a better future of peace and prosperity under the reign of a visionary and wise new monarch."
She said, "It is an honor for me to work with you (King) to strengthen the friendship between the two Commonwealth countries in the future."
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina wished King Charles III and Queen Camilla good health, happiness and longevity, and peace, progress and prosperity to the friendly people of the United Kingdom.
