Dhaka, November 6: US President and Republican candidate Donald Trump's sons have come down heavy on his party colleagues for failing to back the former as chances of his re-election look slim.

"Everyone should be watching who is actually fighting this flagrant nonsense and who is sitting on the sidelines. Republicans have been weak for decades which has allowed for the left to do these things," part of Trump's eldest son Don Jr's tweet read.

Donald Trump Jr, who is thought to have political ambitions of his own, said it was 'pretty amazing' to see 'total lack of action' from other 2024 GOP hopefuls.

However, he said his father would fight on his own as usual.

"The total lack of action from virtually all of the “2024 GOP hopefuls” is pretty amazing. They have a perfect platform to show that they’re willing & able to fight but they will cower to the media mob instead. Don’t worry @realDonaldTrump will fight & they can watch as usual!" the tweet read.

Eric Trump, the US President's second son urged Republicans for a fight.

He said the GOP (grand old party- another name for the Republican Party) will never forget if they 'sheep'.

"Where are Republicans! Have some backbone. Fight against this fraud. Our voters will never forget you if your (sic) sheep!" Eric Trump's tweet read.

The tweets from the Trump camp shows rift between the US President and his party members.

Meanwhile, Trump said he would win the elections easily, however, said a lot of litigation would be filed.

"We think we will win the election very easily, we think there's going to be a lot of litigation because we have so much evidence, so much proof and it's going to end up perhaps at the highest court on the land," Trump said at the White House on Thursday.

In another major development, Trump's lead over Democrat candidate Biden in the battleground state of Pennsylvania sunk to 0.8 percentage point, Fox News reported.

After the count of 90 percent of ballots, Trump has 49.8 percent of votes, while Biden 49 percent. At the moment, the incumbent president has gained 51,000 votes more than his opponent in this battleground state.

Philadelphia is one of five states that have not announced the results of the vote count yet.

On Thursday, Philadelphia temporarily halted the vote count over the lawsuit of Trump, who demanded that his campaign observers must get access to the process. Later, the vote count has been resumed, while the Trump campaign has filed a federal lawsuit to suspend the process.

Presently, Biden leads Trump 264-214, in a bid to reach 270, to win a majority and become the next president of the United States of America.
