In the month of March 2013 the Patgram police in Lalmonihat arrested 13 members of the outfit, and unearthed a secret training camp in a jute field just 400 yards from India’s border.  Several more top leaders of the outfit were arrested in the subsequent month from different parts of the country.  These arrested militant are now out on bail, but the government kept them under close watch so that they cannot get involved in any subversive activities. Among the 13 arrested in March, one Aynal Haque Prodhan is a local Jamaat-e-Islami leader fromRahmatpur area of Patgram.  He was taken on remand for two days. During the interrogation he revelled that the group was using local Jamaat network to recruit members for Allahar Dol. Most of the recruits were from economically deprived families who were convincedto join the activities of the militant outfit.  Anwarul Islam Raju, brother-in-law of condemned war criminal Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid was leading the activities in Patgram, and coordinating preparation efforts to take immediate actions in case Mujahid is executed.  During interrogation he also revealed that a former Upazila Council Chairman and Jamaat leader Alauddin Fatemi wasreportedly training a team, and keeping them ready for an action on the direction of Jamaat. Fatemi is accused in number of cases during violence preceded after January 5 election during 2014.

According to the Lalmonihat Dist. police chief, Allahar Dol emerged from the same root – JMB, which was banned and they were trying to reorganise under different umbrella. The security forces were yet to confirm the source of finance but were confident that the money was collected from their well-wishers.  The chunk of the money was spent on the poor families with main target to recruit the unemployed youth so that they feel indebted, and do not object if their children join them.  The father of one militant who was arrested was so convinced that the Allahar Dol is not a militant and got angry after the arrest.  The claimed that theywere God fearing people, and were arrested without any reason.

The security forces deserve applause from the nation after unearthing the terror plot of Hilful Fuzul. They have now added another feather on their cap after revealing the activities of the militant outfit Allahar Dol

By using the Allahar Dol the outfit was misusing, and cheating the poor people in the name of Allah.  The religious minded people were getting some idea about the group due to the excellent job done by the security forces. People must educate these people who were being exploited in the name of religion.
