Dhaka, September 8: India has promised Bangladesh 20 broad gauge diesel rail engines. Besides, some other steps have been taken for the development of Bangladesh-India railway connection. New Delhi has promised to provide this locomotive in view of Bangladesh's request during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's four-day official visit.
