Mamunul's various misdeeds under investigation

Dhaka, April 23: Maulana Mamunul Haque, the joint secretary general of Hefazat-e-Islam, has been remanded in custody for seven days on charges of "injure with intent to murder, theft, intimidation and intentional disturbance in religious activities". Although he was asked about the case in remand, the issue of several vandalism incidents, including March 26, is coming up. He is also being questioned about these matters.
