Dhaka, March 28: The proposal to amend the Representation of the People Order (RPO) is coming up in the Cabinet today, Tuesday (March 28). In this, several amendment proposals are being made, including extending the time from 2020 to 2030 by 10 years to ensure 33 percent female leadership in all-level committees of political parties. If approved by the Cabinet, it may come up as a bill in the upcoming session of Parliament.

Dhaka, November 3: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that women as the main victims of climate change, need greater participation in tackling these risks and more bold steps are needed to empower them, especially in developing resilience.
