Dhaka, September 20: The court sentenced seven members of the Cox's Bazar District Detective Police (DB) to 12 years imprisonment under separate clauses in the case of extortion of Tk 17 lakh ransom from a business hostage. Judge Mohammad Ismail of Cox's Bazar District Sessions and Judges Court gave the verdict on Tuesday (September 20).
