Bangladesh's digital security laws are easier than America's: Information Minister
Dhaka, April 6: Information and Broadcasting Minister and Joint General Secretary of Awami League Dr. Hasan Mahmud commented that digital security law of Bangladesh is easier than American law. He said that the law has been made to provide digital security to people. So there is no question of repealing the Digital Security Act. The Ministry of Law is working to ensure that journalists are not harassed under this law.

Digital security law passed
নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধি, ঢাকা, সেপ্টেম্বর ১৯ : বহুল আলোচিত ডিজিটাল নিরাপত্তা আইন, ২০১৮ পাস করেছে জাতীয় সংসদ। আইনের আটটি ধারার বিষয়ে সম্পাদক পরিষদের আপত্তি আমলে না নিয়েই এটি পাস হলো।
