Dhaka, Sept 6: State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid said that Bangladesh's potential electricity generation capacity will be around 60,000 MW by 2041.
Area wise load shedding from Tuesday
Dhaka, July 19: The country is moving to area-wise load shedding from Tuesday by suspending diesel power generation. This decision was taken in a high-level meeting at the Prime Minister's office. The Prime Minister's Advisor on Power and Energy, State Minister for Power and Energy, Chief Secretary, Senior Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office and other related officials were present in the meeting.
