Tanneries not applying for environmental clearance in Savar to be closed
Dhaka, September 28: The Parliamentary Committee has recommended the closure of tanneries in Savar's tannery industrial city that have not applied for environmental clearance and are unlikely to ensure compliance. This recommendation was made in the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change held on Tuesday (September 27) at Sangsad Bhavan.
