Dhaka, March 22: Mahbubul Alam Hanif MP, joint general secretary of Bangladesh Awami League, said that Bangladesh has become an independent country after a long struggle. "We are grateful to India for the independence of Bangladesh. Because when the Pakistani aggressors started genocide in Bangladesh, 12 million of our people took refuge in India. Not only that, the freedom fighters of Bangladesh were trained and assisted with weapons, at the same time the Indian army has fought with Bangladesh.
