Dhaka, December 30: Road Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said the fare of Dhaka Metrorail is not high compared to other countries.

Metro Rail fare likely to be Tk 2.40 per kilometre

Dhaka, September 3: A fare of Tk 2.40 per km for Metrorail (MRT-6) from Diabari in Uttara to Motijheel has proposed by authorities at the first meeting of the rent determination committee held on Sunday. This will be final if approved by the Ministry of Road Transport. However, it is known that the rent may increase further. Individual minimum fare will be fixed.
