Dhaka, February 23: A court has sentenced Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Mizanur Rahman Mizan to three years in prison and former ACC director Khandaker Enamul Basir to eight years in prison on charges of leaking information and bribery. Judge Sheikh Nazmul Alam of Dhaka Special Judge's Court-4 pronounced the verdict on Wednesday (February 23).

Regent Hospital: Police arrest Mizanur Rahman over fake Covid-19 reports of labourers
Police in Dhaka's Uttara have nabbed the Managing Director of Regent Hospital, Mizanur Rahman, for preparing fake Covid-19 reports for 76 labourers working in the metro railway project.
